VP Treasury

We are partnered with a global leader in real estate investment, management and development that is seeking a Treasurer to join their southeast team. 

This position provides the opportunity for an experienced finance leader to help build/transition an 
organization and position it for success as an industry leader. This organization has a rich history of success and innovative offerings both in real estate and investment vehicles, the VP, Treasury will help shape the business in a market for growth with an organization that has an appetite for investing.

The Treasurer will be responsible for the determination of cash requirements, cash concentration, short-term cash investments and maintenance of appropriate cash flow. They will establish short-term borrowing needs and recommend short-term investing initiatives. The Treasurer will also direct and manage operations of the treasury function and prepare and analyze department reports, financial accounting records, cash flow analysis, credit agreement compliance and projections.

Required Experience:
  • Experience in researching, analyzing, and implementing treasury policies at a global level.
  • Solid oral/written communication and presentation skills.

  • Transaction structuring and due diligence experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of global treasury and accounting areas, including VAT and direct treasury.
  • The successful candidate will develop solutions to projects independently and communicate those solutions effectively to the wider business, treasury, and finance teams.

  • The ability to manage strategic business issues, provide business/leadership contribution to the senior team and drive the organization for efficiencies, cost and profitability.
  • Have a strategic mindset, sound business acumen and understand the business drivers to help take the organization to the next level.

Education/ Certifications
  • Degree in business, finance/accounting, or a related field, with 15+ years of experience in a large consulting firm and/or a private industry treasury team with a real estate focus.
  • A CTP (or CPA) or equivalent certification, Master’s in Treasury, or JD is required.
